The Dirty Dozen Fruits & Vegetables

The Dirty Dozen

The Dirty Dozen: the 12 fruits and vegetables containing the highest concentrations of pesticides. (this list came out today, after I shared an un-organic un-washed  apple with my son) Consuming 5 servings from this list would cause you to consume an average of 14 different pesticides a day. And yes, these pesticide residues are still present even after washing and peeling in some cases.  The best option is to buy these items organic.
